This Client is looking for a temporary member for their import/export compliance team. The person who had done this role previously was done as of this last Monday. They've just received approval to bring in some contract help to alleviate some of the work volume. They are looking for someone with high attention to detail that can go through line items on an invoice to make sure all numbers/letters/info matches up to the invoice within their ERP system. They need to make sure there are no errors, if there are they will flag it and send it off to the appropriate person so the government doesn't have to step in. This will be 90% auditing on the computer between the system and the physical invoice. Once done they will then file the invoice physically into their filing system. This person must be able to follow a process, solve complex problems, audit and be reliable on a daily basis. * Filing both paper and electronic documents per specification (more paper than electronic) * Comparing two documents for consistency between them and moving the information forward (when consistent) or escalating the issue if it is not consistent - auditing customs entries * Data entry * Solid Excel skills to support data entry. Individual does NOT need advanced skill to create pivot tables, develop spreadsheets, etc. They just need to be able to operate within Excel. * MS Word and Outlook email are required * Running reports from SAP per procedure/code. This is not creating code but learning how to do the report run and then duplicating as needed. * SAP experience is great but not required
They do not necessary need to come from a import/export background, mainly we are looking for someone that comes from a position with high level of detail to attention; mortgage would work for example.
