HR Assistant II

Location: Virtual WFH

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Contract Length: 4 months and based on need it could potentially extend further

Additional Requirements: **Candidates must have their own WFH space, their own personal Internet, and a reliable personal laptop/desktop computer to use**

JOB DESCRIPTION

Disability and Leave Services (DLS) team in the HR Services organization is building a best-in-class case management program to deliver leave of absence, disability and accommodation services to employees globally.

  • Provide case management support for all types of leave of absence and disability life events.
  • Skilled in responding to changing circumstances and needs, and assists the DLS Case Manager in paving the way for a connected and trusted case management experience.
  • Facilitate all initial case activity, determine eligibility for any corresponding leave/disability plans, and generate corresponding letters/emails and act on behalf of the DLS Case Manager in ensuring timely case management.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 1-2 years of related Human Resources experience within a corporate/professional environment, to include but not be limited to:
    • Medical Office
    • Customer Service
    • Claims Operations
    • Data Entry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in having/delivering difficult conversations with empathy
  • Experience working with confidential medical and HR information
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong computer operating skills
