Are you a proven Senior Quality Engineer with automation experience? Join our exciting journey to reinvent how business applications are continuously integrated and deployed in the cloud (CI/CD), using state of the art open source technologies. You will be an individual contributor and a change agent, partnering with application QA teams to understand process inefficiencies and selectively automate, adding business value. Accountable to build and support the QA specific tool chain patterns and reusable test automation solutions/utilities that will be used across AIG Life and Retirement. Leverages tools from DevOps and Quality Engineering Support and helps to establish the local implementation of the tool chain for specific projects. Ensures that the right KPIs, reporting and metrics are made visible in each step of the process. Strives to automate as much as possible in the QA test space in a reusable manner. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes. Job Responsibilities: ?Develops, maintains, and supervises reusable QA automation frameworks, reference implementations, and patterns adhering to coding standards ?Develops and executes QA automation technology POCs and make recommendation ?Develops / Supervises adherence to DevOps and Quality Engineering tool chain standards ?Prioritizes Application Inventory for Quality Engineering implementations ?Assists business unit QA teams in the implementation and customization of the tool chains and reusable utilities ?Leverages and influences standard tool chain products working with DevOps Engineering Support ?Assists in planning, scheduling, and implementing QA automations for select business unit applications ?Enables self-serve based QA automation pipeline including zero click deployments ?Documentations, starter guides, trainings on tool chain, best practices, and standards ?Ensures automation/notifications for control functions ?Ensures full integration and support with DevOps Engineering ?Develops and provides KPIs and Metrics for QA automation projects ?Enables Quality Engineering processes and tools for brown-field and Cloud-Native applications/services ?Analyzes QA requirements, performs code reviews, and recommends solutions and relevant standards and best practices ?Helps streamline application release pipeline and release management in the context of QA automation What we are looking for: Bachelor?s degree in a computer science, IT, or Engineering ?Total of 8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years as QA Automation Engineer; 3+ years as Quality Analyst involving desktop, web applications, and web services; 2+ years of development experience in Java and .NET ?Experienced in developing reusable test automation scripts with Selenium, UFT, Java/.NET ?Experience in using and integrating with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Junit/NUnit, Jenkins; regression testing tools such as Selenium, UFT; performance testing tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter ?Knowledge of Agile software development methodology and implementations such as Jira ?Familiarity with Unix, Windows, Groovy, SQL, HTML, XML, and Javascript ?Passionate about communication and collaboration; effectively communicates verbally and via tools such as Confluence ?Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company?s success ?Good time-management skills ?Critical thinker with sound problem solving skills ?Good understanding of the insurance and financial services industry ?Experience in leading other Quality Engineers and track progress ?Ability to lead meetings and interactions with customers ?Rest API, SOAP development experience What our IT Employees like most about working for AIG: Employee atmosphere and people approach Career path and growth potential Paid Time Off (AIG recognizes the importance of work life balance) Generous Benefits Plan: Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage Company opportunities for charitable participation and giving 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match Opportunity to travel to other worldwide AIG locations Flexible spending accounts & Insurance Coverage It has been and will continue to be the policy of American International Group, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
