I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.

The Data Coordinator for the Commerce Content team is responsible for managing commerce content data across several brands at Meredith. This role will require an exceptional attention-to-detail, efficiency in reporting operations, data analysis, and data input technologies.

As the Data Coordinator you will be responsible for the daily input, transformation, and coordination of multiple data sources, and reporting formats to inform our fast-acting Editorial and Strategy teams. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and efficient individual who will ensure all data is accurate, instructive, and delivered at or before deadline each day.

The work supplied by this role will be the foundation for our strategic decisions, so this individual must be able to manage high-pressure and time-sensitive requests with a clear focus, and enthusiasm. This is a key role for an analytical mind, interested in eCommerce content.

II. Essential Job Functions

40 Collect all Commerce Content data available via Affiliate Network platforms, web-based platforms, raw reporting, and Google-application platforms

40 Manage data sources to deliver raw metrics to reporting documentation

10 Collaborate interdepartmentally to collect relevant data across teams

5 Track interesting trends to inform Commerce Strategy management

5 Move quickly in coordinating with vendors to resolve platform issues that may distort our reporting

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

Bachelors in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Data, Business Analytics, Marketing, Applied Computer Science

Experience:

2-3 years reporting responsibilities ownership

Data Analytics, Digital Marketing Platform Management, Accounting, and Account Management experience preferred.

Deep affiliate network (Amazon, Rakuten, Skimlinks, etc.) knowledge and experience a major plus.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interest in eCommerce, data input and data analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expert in Excel
  • General knowledge of affiliates (Amazon, Rakuten, Skimlinks, etc.)
  • Ability to spot performance trends and anomalies in data, and knowledge of digital media and research reporting tools (Google Analytics, CMS, Social Flow, Parsley, Crowd Tangle, Facebook Insights, etc.)
