Blue Matter is seeking an Operations and Project Coordinator to support our team of strategy consultants. We are looking for a smart, structured, and fun personality to enable the smooth operation of our daily business and foster a warm and friendly office atmosphere. The Operations and Project Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Blue Matter Operations and Consulting Teams in our NYC office.?
The roles and responsibilities of the Operations and Project Coordinator will include, but are not limited to the following:
Office Operations: General office administration and coordination including purchasing of consumables and day-to-day upkeep
Team Support: Plan team events and meetings, provide onboarding support for new hires
Recruiting Support: Take an active role in recruiting processes including communication with potential candidates, scheduling interviews, managing interview day logistics
Executive Support: Prepare expense reports and coordinate travel
Project Management Support:?
Schedule and attend project meetings and take notes
Track action items and decisions from meetings; ensure follow through?
Support project deliverables
Desired Experience and Skills
1+ year experience in a comparable role
Self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
Superb organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Proficient in MS Office and Apple OS and ability to quickly build proficiency in other programs
Passionate, curious and open-minded personality with proactive approach in anticipating the needs of our team
