Job Description:

UC Data Specialist will track, monitor, and coordinate report data for multiple departments. Ensure all involved directors have adequate, updated info on weekly basis.


  • Regular hours entail 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to meet program needs.
  • Evenings and weekends may be required.

  • Responsible for all reporting requirements for the Master Roster, Simplified Roster and Staffing Roster
  • Responsible for all reporting requirements for the Voluntary Departures, Expedited Hearings, Age Outs, and Age Redeterminations Report
  • Assist with Records Requests
  • Establish and maintain effective Home Visit tracking
  • Monitor and track the submission of SA/SIRs, CPS active cases, grievances, etc
  • Assist with auditing
  • Ensure all involved departments and individuals are informed of changes in progress and any and all additional changes that may occur.
  • Bring any issues or concerns to the administrative management team.
  • Participate in weekly staffing meetings with multiple department directors.
  • Attend required training.
  • Read required books.
  • Responsible for complying with rules and regulations governing access to Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Access to Protected Health Information is limited to the extent required to perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently. No access will be permitted unnecessarily. These essential job functions dictate the level of access, use, and disclosure of confidential information.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your immediate supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.

  • Word processing: Including responding to e-mails, composing letters, completing computerized documentation, transcribing minutes for meetings, etc.: This involves sitting at a computer for several hours a day.
  • Completing paperwork -Such as copying, stapling as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Sit/ride in vehicles, buses, subways, trains, plains - public transportation for lengthy periods of time.
  • Walk up/down stairs as needed.
  • Walk to enter/exit subway and other public transportation as needed.
  • Walk several blocks to get to required location.
  • Experience and Skills:


  • Bachelor s degree required
  • NYC ACS or private agency child welfare experience required
  • Familiarity with OCFS, OMRDD, OMH, and other relevant municipal and state agencies
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently independently, and in team settings
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work well with people from many cultures including recent immigrants, non-English speakers, and LGBTQ children.
  • Willingness to travel within the 5 boroughs of New York City
  • NYS Driver s License preferred.
  • Ability to travel to other agency locations as required.
