(RN) Clinical Program Manager - New England Market Position Summary: In partnership with the Clinical Program Director Clinical Program Sr. Manager, MMEs, Market Leadership and Regional Medical Executive, the Clinical Program Manager is responsible to drive organizational performance for both long and short-term strategic goals around Client Growth and Retention, Total Medical Cost and Value-Based Network Performance achieved through the effective leadership and empowerment of a team of Nursing Professionals (Clinical Consultants). Managerial behaviors and responsibilities include: As part of the regional team, partners with the Market and Regional Medical Executive, Clinical Program Sr. Mgr or Clinical Program Director to work alongside the Sales and Network Leadership as a key participant to understand market trends and dynamics, and assist with the crafting of market strategy Works with the Market Medical Executives, Sales and Network Leadership to target and educate to affordability initiatives and/or opportunities to improve TMC Partners with Clinical Program Sr. Mgr , MMEs and Sales Leadership to execute strategy that supports customer engagement, affordability, client persistence and membership growth Serves as a Collaborative and Influential Leader, enabling the connection between Cigna Clinical Operations and our Healthcare Delivery System partners, identifying pathways to improve collaboration and performance that result in positive outcomes for our network, clients and customers Responsible for clinical resource deployment according to Regional, Market and organizational commitments , Demonstrates visible leadership and guidance for enterprise and local cost of care initiatives including communication and execution of those initiatives at the local market level Identifies and delivers key information to market leadership that generate cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities to achievement of financial targets Engages in on-going strategy and solutions with matrix partners ( i.e. CEM, CAM, Clinical Operations, Health and Wellness) to meet market/regional growth and persistence, TMC and VB growth targets Serves as a technical, professional and/or business expert, participating in cross-functional projects that support MFCO and market business strategy Provides oversight or direct contribution to data analysis, clinical insights and consultative guidance and recommendations for anchor Clients and Provider Networks integral to Delivery System Alliance and/or Network Product success Represents, communicates, and reinforces the value and scope of the Clinical Consultant role Responsible to fairly and accurately assess, hire and retain high caliber, diverse talent able to successfully achieve business goals Executes and monitors effectiveness of necessary training for all new and existing staff, partnering with Business Project Team Coaches and promotes staff growth and career development Promotes employee satisfaction and retention through regular assessment of individual and team performance, providing candid and timely developmental feedback Effectively applies and enforces Cigna HR policies and practices, i.e. Attendance, Code of Conduct and Ethics, and Disciplinary Guidelines. (*) Qualifications: **NOTE: MUST RESIDE in one of the following areas:** Massachusetts Boston, MA Connecticut- Northern Area Rhode Island Registered Nurse with current active license. Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice experience Basic Business Acumen preferred, advanced experience a plus Proven Management/Leadership experience in a Health Sector related field (Health Insurance; Healthcare Professional and/or Delivery System Entities or Allied Health Industry) Ability to Think critically, communicate effectively at a macro and micro level Prioritize and align in a complex multi-matrix environment Effectively operationalize business priorities Effective in a rapidly changing environment.
