Building Maintenance Assistant
Roles & Responsibilities
Client RelationshipsProactively develop and maintain client relationships ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.Comply with all requirements of the Client contract and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.Deliver an exceptional quality of service, as reflected by client feedback.
Service DeliverySupport the day to day delivery of facility and event services on site in accordance with all agreed policies, procedures and contract scope.Identify opportunities for improvement and service excellence, making recommendations for consideration.Where directed, conduct site inspections to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are maintained at all times and the provision of a safe workplace.Complete room setup and take down of furniture and audio/visual equipment for meetings, training, and special events.Maintain furniture and equipment inventory and associated records.Support delivery of site amenities and programs as directed, including but not limited to: reception, janitorial, mail and courier services, materials store, document management, copy services, and shipping programs.Coordinate and manage special requests for workplace services that are outside of the routine services provided.Ensure that all work is performed at the prescribed service level and frequency.To perform housekeeping and general maintenance at the facility and surrounding areas.Assist in carrying out safety and emergency response activities as directed.Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.Any other activities to support JLL and/or site operations, including, but not limited to: moves/re-configurations, events, safety or sustainability practices
Leadership/TeamworkActively support an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence and personal success.Participate in the individual performance management program, and personal development planning process.Act as an ambassador for JLL by behaving consistently with cultural and ethical requirements and participating in company activities.
Qualifications/Experience/RequirementsAbility to adequately perform required job functions including being able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, bend and move in such a way as to perform job tasks in a safe and approved manner.Must be able to operate hand/power tools, test instrumentation and equipment as required in a safe and approved mannerPrior experience in facilities, property maintenance, hospitality or related field preferredUnderstanding of basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system) is advantageousExcellent communication skills both orally and writtenAbility to multitask on several projects simultaneouslyStrong organization and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently with little supervisionSelf-motivated; confident, energetic and flexibleMandatory valid drivers licenseKnowledge of MS Office SuiteMust be able to work 40 hours a week; Monday thru Friday - potentially special event meetings that occur early mornings and into the evening or on weekends which are scheduled in advance
