Job Description:

The Head of Advisor Desktop Executive Director will lead the Chase Wealth Management (CWM) Product team while staying closely aligned to broader Wealth Management strategic direction and objectives to ensure clear alignment and integration. The ED will actively manage a product team to identify, deliver, and influence across a matrixed environment to identify and deliver initiatives in partnership with colleagues throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage a product organization, including but not limited to scope definition, requirements management, business design, technology integration, user acceptance testing, production implementation, pilot and rollout
  • Drive Chase Wealth Managements Field hardware and software deployment strategies, timing, and execution
  • Manage the prioritization and implementation of the Chase Wealth Management investments in technology tools and solutions for Financial Advisors.
  • Define and execute business strategy for all Hardware and Software related changes impacting Chase Wealth Management (CWM) Advisors
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business and technology to craft the overall direction of our Advisor Desktop, aligning with cross impacting objectives within the firm
  • Work directly with Advisors and the broader Wealth Management business to help translate business needs into technology initiatives
  • Continuously enhancing a broad range of capabilities designed to support Advisors and Field Leadership
  • Focus on Advisor and Field experience, working with end users to understand requirements.
  • Support the existing business needs while also working to enhance the current technology platforms including both the desktop and mobile platforms
  • Requires preparation and execution of Business Requirement Documents, User Acceptance Testing, and Pilot Branch coordination.
  • Advise and influence senior leaders / business executives on key recommendations and decisions
  • Partner closely with Wealth Management stakeholders to identify commonalities and leverage similar solutions, tools, and platforms.

Overview of our team:

  • The Chase Wealth Management Advisor Desktop Transformation team partners with various Consumer Bank, Global Technology, and Wealth Management functions, Business and Technology leadership to lead our Advisor Desktop roadmap and priorities. Our focus is in evolving our Advisor Desktop capabilities while integrating with reusable cross Wealth Management capabilities.

  • The Advisor Desktop team is responsible for scope, requirements, strategy, execution and ongoing support for Chase Wealth Management (CWM) hardware and software changes. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • Software/Application changes : defining business needs and aligning with cross impacting Consumer Bank and Wealth Management initiatives to ensure CWM Advisor experience is optimal.

    • Pilot and Rollout : Change management, including removing access to legacy application functionality while deploying new/enhanced functionality.

    • Hardware/Infrastructure : Aligning plans across all hardware and peripheral devices to ensure a seamless experience for CWM Field Personnel. This includes Virtual Desktops, Monitors, Mouse, Keyboards, Browsers, Laptops, Mobile Device Strategy, Secure Printing/Scanning, and more.

    • Integration with Field Implementation activities: Partner with training, marketing, communications, policies and procedures team to ensure seamless pilot and rollout, including platform adoption. Includes feedback management and troubleshooting/ solving issues end to end.

Qualifications/SkillsRequired:

  • 8+ years of financial industry experience a must
  • Demonstrated track record of delivery that meets or exceeds business needs
  • Innovative and forward thinking with knowledge of wealth management flows and functions
  • Knowledge of emerging technology to influence business and tech platform decisions
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to present fact based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way
  • Collaborative style with ability to interact with junior and senior stakeholders across the Business, Operations, and Technology.
  • Strong program management skills, including the ability to understand strategy and user journeys
  • Requires the ability to understand the business and technology in order to provide necessary direction to business priorities
  • Ability to tailor communications (i.e., high level vs detailed level) based on the audience it pertains to.
  • Ability to identify impacts, estimates, and drive strategic solutions across a set of teams
  • Excellent facilitation skills. Ability to command/lead facilitation meetings with clear & specific agenda. Keep the audience attentive and active in participation of the meetings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Partner across lines of business to define mobile strategy and identify impacts to the Chase Wealth Management Field and Branch network
  • Responsible for participating in Consumer and Community Banking Initiative Governance (Pilot, Field Readiness forums, Feedback Forums) to ensure products meet the needs of the field
  • Responsible for testing oversight and sign off prior to production releases
  • Provide clear communication on deliverables,issues, and risks through the execution lifecycle to facilitate transparency.

  • Effectively communicate key messages to allstakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Ownership of issues, state clear direction, and exercisejudgement prioritization of initiatives

  • Identify and syndicate impact on Chase WealthManagement of cross LOB and enterprise initiatives
