Kforce's Farmington, Connecticut (CT)-based client is looking for a Human Resources Systems Manager to manage, maintain and enhance core Human Resources systems. The successful candidate will have expertise in and responsibility for trouble-shooting, improving and maintaining a suite of custom Oracle HR Web Application tools, and the ability to create a roadmap to modernize and enhance the user experience.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in supporting integrations to other key business applications and identifying transformation projects to streamline and replace end-to-end solutions
  • Ensure that technical solutions meet business needs in the most effective, efficient and technically robust way
  • Generate technical and business documents for proposed solutions
  • Work with the functional business partners and Digital Technology teams to develop a technology strategy and roadmap by researching, evaluating and considering alternative technology options available in the market
  • Ensure timely, customer-focused responses to troubleshooting and other technical requests


  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is required; an advanced degree in one of these fields is preferred
  • Seven to ten years of experience in IT
  • Five to seven years of experience in a business/systems analysis role or solutions architect role
  • Skill in gathering and analyzing requirements impacting data-intensive applications/systems, and in building solutions for satisfying those requirements
  • Hands-on experience in developing with Oracle development stack, Oracle database, web technologies and authentication/identity management solutions, with directories like LDAP and AD
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as meeting-facilitation skills
  • Ability to write database queries and navigate database schema in order to support analysis efforts
  • Strong development fundamentals (design patterns, database schema design, data modeling, API design and considerations, and quality concepts)
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and MS Office and the ability to articulate ideas and solutions leveraging these tools to a broad set of audiences, including developers, testers, management and business partners
  • Experience in developing process flows
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three-plus years of enterprise software implementation experience
  • Experience with Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets and/or SQL programming languages
  • Experience with XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers and/or HTML web technologies
