Kforce has a client in search of a Senior PM-HCM in Farmington, CT.SummaryThe IT Program/Senior Project Manager will be supporting a multi-year global initiative. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively using proven program and project management skills are a must. Using HCM expertise, this individual will develop, manage and report on program and project plans and schedules at both high and detailed levels, this includes monitoring and tracking deliverables and key dates for third party solutions that are integral to the delivery of the program. Strong project financial management skills are needed to ensure hours and costs are planned and captured weekly and with traceability over time this will require rigorous attention to detail and advanced use of Excel. The individual must be on-site in Southington, CT office and the New Britain, CT.Duties:
  • Manages to the project budget, strictly adheres to all financial protocols - (e.g., forecasting, variance explanation, weekly actuals review and discrepancy resolution, and change control processes)
  • Develops and maintains detailed work breakdown structures using Microsoft Project
  • Ensures the effective utilization of resources assigned to the project team
  • Liaises with project team members and the Program Manager/IT Project Lead to ensure that objectives and expectations are clearly understood by all parties; Regularly communicates project information including the status of deliverables, scope changes, risk and issues
  • Ensures scope changes are reviewed and approved by the Program Manager/IT Project Lead and Business Sponsor

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or comparable education and experience
  • 8-10+ years of IT Project Management experience
  • Minimum of seven years combined experience in large scale HCM program and project management required
  • Experience working with global business and IT teams
  • Strong IT Application Project Management skills required; must have experience project managing all phases of the SDLC
  • Core skills include Project Plan/WBS creation, Execution/Task Management, Resource Acquisition/Oversight, Financial Management, Implementation/Release Planning, Acceptance, Documentation Management and Closeout
  • Some degree of schedule flexibility may be necessary to ensure appropriate execution synergies are established and sustained
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain credibility, velocity and relationships with customers, leadership and project team members
  • Proficient in MS-Office products including MS-Project, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Energetic, quick learner, able to work independently and as a member of a team; able to quickly learn and apply established frameworks and processes
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills; proven ability to establish credibility
  • Experience working with matrixed teams and third-party vendors
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification strongly preferred
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Experience with Clarity and SharePoint is a plus
  • Knowledge of Security regulations or Corporate systems and Manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Agile nice to have
