Our Industrial Group in East Aurora, NY is hiring for a SAP Site Deployment Lead. This role will be responsible for supporting the local SAP implementation and transformation strategy. The Site Deployment Lead has the qualifications and business acumen to manage large scale, high risk, and strategic projects relative to SAP implementations.
The Site Deployment Lead is responsible for the success of assigned projects by ensuring adherence to Moog s Activate project management methodology and best business practices, status communication and updates to both the Moog Business Team and Transformation Office Management, performs Project Management Reviews, reinforces the enterprise knowledge management through the communication of lessons learned, and best practices development.
The Site Deployment Lead has ability to manage complex projects that require coordination of work between various parties.
Areas of Focus:
* Transformation Office Project Management Governance: This involves establishing frameworks for robust project management, including: project management methodologies (Agile, Iterative and Waterfall)
* Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives, and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members
* (support) Site management/coordination of the entire SAP team(s), i.e. work stream leads
* Ensure the timely implementation of IG's SAP solution (global template/ECC6.0) within budget while meeting the business needs
* The SAP Site Deployment Lead is leading the project on entity/ site from the Transformation Office point of view and is co-ordination all activities and tasks to meet the project execution, whilst ensuring the most effective way to enhance Moog's Business growth and profitability opportunities.
* Manage relationship with project Team, including internal and external clients, keeping the SAP Program Execution Manager informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables
* Provide supervision and guidance to the project staff, both internal and external project teams.
* Perform Project Management Reviews. Lead on project management methodology, standards and processes.
* Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks.
* Support the local project implementation, incl. KPI based reporting
* Communicate and rapidly escalate issues as necessary and report out to local Steering Committee
Minimum Requirements:
* A BS Degree in computer science, business systems, or other relevant discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience in large scale, high risk, complex or strategic projects in a global business.
* Experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology. Multi-culture exposure working with different cultures and customers from different regions is necessary
* Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as, project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan and schedule.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* English: Fluent
