Open Position: Resident Services Coordinator - Supportive Housing Case Manager

As an Elder Services Resident Services Coordinator- Supportive Housing Case Manager you will assist elders and adults living with disabilities so that they are able to continue to live independently in the community. As a Resident Services Coordinator you will provide advocacy, assessment, referrals to supportive services, and case management for those residing in a senior housing complex and neighboring community. You will be located in the senior housing complex and will also act as a resource for all building residents.

This is a full-time (35 hours / week) position. A 4-day schedule is available.


-BA or AA and the ability to complete BA requirements within 3 years of hire.
-Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work independently.
-Demonstrated working knowledge of area supportive services and other community resources.
-Experience in social services with elders, families and/or persons with disabilities and proven ability to provide results through a problem-solving approach.
-Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; entering narrative and other data into a database; the use of the Internet to conduct information searches.
-Private vehicle.

-Experience working in a community setting.
-Case management experience.
