Nesco Resource is recruiting for an Electronics Technician for our manufacturing client's electronics lab! This is a 1st shift temporary position with the potential to become permanent. We are seeking candidates with circuit board and soldering experience. Candidates with management experience are preferred.
The Electronics Technician completes PCBA repairs, reworks, diagnostics, testing and projects as needed, completed timely and with the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a thorough knowledge of manufacturing best practices, a strong knowledge of electronics, soldering skills, ability to use a meter, PCBA testing and troubleshooting skills. The Electronics Technician must be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Electronics Technician position is expected to represent our client with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity at all times.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and assembly protocol.
Understand quality issues affecting final product testing and respond appropriately to improve quality metrics.
Understand and execute repair, rework, diagnostic, troubleshooting and testing processes.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with colleagues; work cross-functionally as needed to resolve issues and achieve mutual goals.
Work with production scheduler to control materials usage, maintain inventory accuracy and ensure schedule conformance.
Analyze data and prepare reports as needed in the course of work.
Adhere to safety standards at all times while enforcing safe work habits with all team members; this includes all OSHA regulations and facility safety guidelines.
Ability to complete manufacturing documentation as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Associate's degree strongly preferred
Manufacturing industry experience; preferably within a technology product manufacturing facility
Electronics (PCBA) experience required
Ability to work overtime as assigned and commit to flexible work schedule around manufacturing demand
Ability to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accurately
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office software programs
