- Director, Strategic Projects and Transformation Management, will be responsible for leading the TMO team to cooperate with Upjohn commercial, enabling/platform functions and markets on key strategic initiatives as Upjohn's organization evolves. - Assist Senior Director, Business Transformation & Integration Management, to oversee strategic projects that fall within the purview of the Transformation Management Office (TMO). - Lead the team to engage across a range of functions and organizations of Pfizer Upjohn and support strategic projects related to key 'solution areas' and key business transformations. - Report to the Senior Director, Business Transformation & Integration Management and will work closely with the SVP F & BO and the Upjohn Leadership Team. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead TMO operational activities on a global basis in support of the Senior Director, Transformation and Integration Management and Upjohn Leadership Team. - Lead, manage and monitor key Upjohn transformation projects roster and lead select strategic projects. - Maintain the integrated project roadmap including initiative timelines, risks and dependencies. - Lead M & A integration / divestiture activities as needed. Periodically conduct portfolio management and pipeline reviews across all teams / stakeholders. - Maintain the standardized business cases and transformation methods, tools and playbooks. - Coordinate vendor relationships and contract execution for all projects. - Report on financial tracking for all projects including progress against business cases. - Monitor and control the cost for transformation projects. - Work with Upjohn and Pfizer senior leaders to develop strategic priorities across functions - developing and implementing strategic alignment approach and methodology to gain buy-in from all key stakeholders. - Lead and manage projects which are strategically important for Upjohn. Projects will include: - Evaluate feasibility and scope of new cross-functional shared service organization. - Work with Pfizer counterparts for the solution of TSA exits. - Manage business, organization and/or legal entity workstreams independently (across multiple geographies and functions). - Implement and build new cross-functional shared services organization while adhering to cost parameters defined by Upjohn's leadership. - Review existing processes with sub-functional / process leaders and identify areas to improve efficiency and drive cost reduction. - Report regularly and escalate issues to Pfizer Upjohn's senior leadership as needed. - Develop Upjohn's specific business integration and alliance management approach. - Review new and emerging technologies and business trends. Assess the strategic importance to Upjohn. QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Demonstrated ability to work in a result-oriented, project-driven and real-time environment with senior stakeholders. - Exceptional analytical and project management skills. - Strong relationship building (internal and external) and negotiation skills. - MBA or other advanced degrees. - 10+ years' work experience with demonstrated pattern of success. - 1-3 years' experience in integration, de-integration, deal-environment or large scale transformation program.
