We are currently looking for a SSM focused on building pipeline and generating new sales for **Chemtiva,** our most recent addition within our Engineering portfolio. You would sell to Engineering, R&D, Product development and Compliance departments of major corporate accounts within a broad set of Consumer and Industrial Product manufacturers utilizing modern R&D approaches to select and use basic and specialty chemicals, substances and materials in their end-products (for example: crop protection, flavors & fragrances, cosmetic additives, fine chemicals, plastic resins and beyond). Our solutions provide vital online information and our tools help our clients research and develop new products, find new solutions to improve older products, and ensure health, regulatory and government compliance through the manufacturing process. You can learn more about this exciting new product at: **Working Together!** The SSM is a critical team member responsible for driving new sales, as well as working with the account team to ensure customer satisfaction. Close collaboration with the Account Managers and the Customer Consultants is essential in our matrix organization. You will report to the Regional Solution Sales Director for North America and should be (home) based close to a major airport. In case close to one of our offices, you would be more than welcome to use our office facilities. **Your responsibilities:** You are responsible for selling to senior decision-makers overseeing Process, Formulation, Polymer and Analytical Chemists; Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial and Process Engineers; EHS and Regulatory Professionals and Product Stewards with the goal of generating new sales of **Chemtiva** within the Engineering product portfolio; negotiate and close contacts. Create and execute a territory plan, maximizing time and account penetration with top tier accounts. Develop of strong understanding of the competitor landscape and be able to position our solutions with a strong value story. Develop a deep understanding of customer segments (across Consumer and Industrial Product manufacturers), their unique market issues and translate how our information and tools can help provide solutions to meet their current needs. Become a key expert on specific industrial-chemical / substance selection and vetting processes for product R&D, delivery, process ramp-upto be able to bring a global reference to customers. Provide continuous feedback to product and marketing teams; participate in projects to help accurately assess market conditions and provide strategic initiatives for new product development. **Our Requirements:** BS/BA required; Engineering degree required (Process, Chemical, Material or Industrial preferred), Masters a plus Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience with a proven track record Proven experience selling complex products/services utilizing a "consultative sales" approach Experience working with CRM to track sales activity Experience working with research/engineering departments highly preferred Experience within targeted industries highly preferred Excellent analytical skills and presentation skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Fluent in English [German and other languages are a plus] Experience working within an international matrixed organization helpful Ability to travel (40% approximate) **We offer:** We are the leading provider of scientific, technical, and medical information & tools in the world that help our customers improve scientific and clinical outcomes.
