Financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting will be among your duties as Senior Accountant. What you get to do every single day - Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors - Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. - Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required - Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives For immediate consideration, email a resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resum ]
- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly preferred - Strong time management skills preferred - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision - Proficiency in journal entries - Solid understanding of general ledger - Expertise in month end closings - Financial statement preparation experience preferred - SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus - Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions - Strong attention to detail - ERP system experience - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
