Sev1Tech provides program management and acquisition support for the world's toughest challenges, build and optimize some of the nation's most advanced IT systems and help sustain critical infrastructure operations for global leaders.The Director of DCAA Compliance is responsible for directing policies and practices to ensure the organization is in compliance with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reporting to ensure the overall integrity of data in Woodbridge VA.Location: Position is on-site Monday-Friday during core business hoursJob Roles & Responsibilities:Leads external (i.e., DCAA) and internal (i.e., Corporate) auditsCompiles and submits the annual Incurred Cost Submissions and coordinates negotiations for anizes and conducts internal operational audits throughout the yearOversee the Divisional SOX compliance program which includes ensuring efficient and effective testing and remediation of key controls over financial reporting.Performs special reviews and supports internal investigations as required.Assesses the adequacy of programs designed to safeguard organization assets.Reviews data to support the issuance of reports detailing the findings and providing recommendations for process enhancement.Collaborates with internal and external auditors on control-related matters.Protects assets by establishing compliance standards; anticipating emerging compliance trends; designing improvements to internal control structureIdentifies exceptions to policies and procedures and recommends solutionsAssists with other projects as requested by the VP and CFO or other managementHave an awareness of business process changes impacting SOX and provide guidance where necessary.Lead, mentor and develop assigned staff membersOversee/Prepare Budgets and Incurred Cost Audit for DCAAReviews data on historical and future trends in performance; develops reports and provides advice & counsel to management for development of appropriate actionsReviews forecasts and trends of expenses and identifies issues and opportunitiesProvides leadership in the creation, implementation and communication of financial information to the field organization to ensure easy access to information, including the use of Web technologiesPerform other duties as assigned by the CFOFamiliar with concepts, practices, and procedures of financial planning & analysis.Clearance Level: Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship able to obtain a government clearanceReporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of DCAA Compliance is responsible for all DCAA compliance matters.
