63811BRTitle:Digitization LeadBusiness:US - Global GSMState / Country / Province:Connecticut Job Description:Job SummaryThe Digitization Lead's primary responsibility is to support Global Supply Management process and solution improvements. The Lead will become an expert in our Global Supplier Portal, Citi Supplier Finance, Gensuite, and the Ariba suite of solutions. S/he will be responsible for supporting the broader GSM team in running sourcing events, as well as assisting with configuration, communication, file uploads, data validation, account management, and data analysis, and end user support (SBD users and suppliers).Primary Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProvide support as the Functional Administrator for our major GSM solutions as neededAccount creation and managementSupplier profile maintenanceInternal user and supplier supportSystem configurationsServe as the Training leader - user training for both internal SBD and supplier trainingProvide direction to all users regarding best practices for online sourcing eventsServes as power user in all supported systemsAnalyze event date to determine best approach for online eventsCreate, manage and run complex eSourcing eventsAnalyze business needs and proposing solutions / changes to fit needsAct as liaison between SWK and third party supplier master cleansing providerAnalyze, research and resolve data consistency and validation issuesWork closely with technical team to troubleshoot, address and escalate SBD and supplier issuesResearch industry information and complete benchmarking studies to compare savings, sourcing efficiency, and other measurements for the divisions and businessesSupport process improvement rollouts to the supply baseAssist with additional of systems and processes to all GSP businesses globallyAssist the team in policy and procedure developmentProvide reports on KPIs and other analytics monthly and as neededDevelop and manage the content for the global sourcing intranet web-siteMeasure and evaluate internal customer compliance by developing metrics and scorecardsOther duties assigned that will directly support business improvement and cost / time savingIdentify working capital reduction opportunities Job Requirements, Knowledge and Skills3-5 years in the manufacturing industry, preferably from Supply Chain / Sourcing / Procurement2 Years of relevant experience:System set-upData management / warehousing / data analysisCustomer or user service / support rolePrefer demonstrable knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, as well as a systems adeptness Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS applications (Office, Access, Visio, Project); SAP a plusAbility to understand, define, and satisfy the business needs - both defined and not yet known - of the procurement communityStrong verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate at multiple organizational levelsStrong presentation skills - formal and informal, power point experience requiredStrong project management and quantitative skills; highly process-orientedGood time management skills - able to handle multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent interpersonal skills; highly energetic, motivated, and enthusiasticAbility to drive initiatives cross-functionally and across multiple divisionsAbility to function successfully and independently in a global matrix organizationDemonstrated ability to \"think on your feet\" and apply past lessons learned in new situations to provide efficient responses to user / supplier issuesHave a professional and courteous demeanor Why Stanley Black & Decker (SBD)?Stanley Black and Decker employees are given the opportunity to:Work collaboratively and across functions with the highest caliber talent - SBD is committed to hiring and developing great people who have a passion for excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.
