How will you make an impact?
By leading & driving sourcing category initiatives and projects across multiple spend categories, you will deliver key business and product improvements to CMD business units. You will drive product cost savings improvements, integrate preferred supply partners and set up optimized supply chains to support the business. You will partner with key business stakeholders and functions to deliver quality sourcing and supplier solutions resulting in direct product line business improvements. Scope of this role includes all CMD sourcing categories and related suppliers including; (Indirect) IT, OEM, Business Services and (Direct) Electrical, Mechanical, Consumables.
What will you do?
With our stakeholders and partners, and, in accordance with category strategy, provide project leadership while managing the supplier relationship and performance through project completion.
Drive all project / supplier activity within the assigned category to deliver best cost, quality and supply chain performance for our products.
Lead and manage supplier projects, product transfer, outsourcing or resourcing projects to deliver on cost, quality and schedule requirements.
Lead cost reduction initiatives from idea generation, approval and project implementation.
Lead cross functional and matrix teams to; (1) select and integrate new suppliers, (2) optimize the supply chain and, (3) sustain our products in market with supply chain & product lifecycle management support.
How will you get here? Education
Bachelor s Degree required (preferably in Business, Finance or Engineering)
5 years sourcing, commodity category or supplier management experience.
5 years Project Management (PMP) or Project Leadership (Six Sigma) experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain related projects.
5 years experience and demonstrated ability to prepare & present project proposals, opportunity to the business and project results and updates to executive level stakeholders and leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Demonstrated excellence and proficiency in Spend Analytics and Sourcing technologies, and Project Management software systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a large matrix and global organizations.
Strong communication skills, including ability to influence across matrix organizations.
Strong analytical skills required
Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing process and practical application of the process to sourcing projects and product design requirements.
Proven leadership ability and problem-solving skills are a must.
Expert proficiency in Windows (Power BI, MS Teams, Office, & Access) based office software.
Up to 25% global travel
