Description This is a limited term position for 1 year. This is a grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay. The laboratory of Behavioral Neuroscience, in the Psychology Department at Tufts, is investigating the cellular and molecular actions of the brain s mesocorticolimbic reward system in affective disorders.
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies.
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in science with up to 1 year laboratory experience.
Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and procedures.
