Excellent opportunity to lead the Otis Tax Technology team in the selection, deployment and maintenance of Tax Technology software, providing functional expertise in supporting CorpTax, Longview, EBX Masterdata, SharePoint, and Project Online applications. This position works very closely with our customers, including the Corporate and Business Unit (BU) Tax users and global users to ensure the technology platforms we support are optimized to improve their processes and add value to the Finance organization. We work closely with our customers to help define their business requirements and configure the above tools.

Primary responsibilities include:

* Facilitates identification, evaluation and selection of Tax Technology related software; provide project management for the deployment of the software; assist in defining business requirements for deploying, enhancing and modifying the applications
* Maintains and cultivates relationships with all Tax Technology software vendors and implementation partners
* Directs team responsible for maintenance and support of Tax applications:
* Longview Tax Provision (steady state maintenance: rollover, security, input templates and reports; application enhancements and new application development)
* CorpTax (Federal, State, International, Planner, Office)
* Microsoft Access and Excel application creation and maintenance
* Coordinates regression and user acceptance testing for application changes
* Coordinates with and trains offshore team members in India
* Manages help desk support, maintains documentation such as user guides, process flows, and training materials, and conducts and coordinates training sessions
* Creates and maintains standard work documentation
* Database query and report writer (SQL Query Analyzer, SSRS)

* Strong involvement with the tax compliance & tax provision processes
* Applies ACE tools, including performing QCPC analysis on turn backs, to help Identify opportunities for process improvements and application of technology \"best practices\"

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax and/or Computer Science is required

Experience / Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience managing concurrent business application/solution implementation projects and ongoing operations
* Experience implementing and configuring tax solutions. Corptax and/or Longview preferred
* System Development Life Cycle experience; e.g., traditional waterfall and/or Agile methodology
* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently
* Ability to work effectively as part of a high performing team
* Microsoft Project / Server and/or other PM tool experience required
* Candidate must be a high performer and must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and facilitation skills, as well as a passion for technology and the ability to interact and influence effectively across business units and functions
* A strong customer focus, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking across concurrent projects are critical to the candidate's success
* Candidate should possess strong management skills including the ability to recruit, motivate, evaluate and retain top talent
* PMP Certification preferred
* The position will have anticipated travel of 10%
